A1SoundDj started in 1995 with a few outdoor friends and family parties. I had always liked music. In sept of 1995 did my first real event, soon followed by the first wedding reception. Helpful things to consider when hiring a Dj/MC /Entertainer for your event.

The 2 things that any professional DJ Service will require is:


1. Signed contract – it protects both parties and 

2. A reservation fee – 1/3 of event total down

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had that “My” Dj cancelled and at that it’s now only weeks away to your event, my first 2 questions are did you sign a contract and pay a deposit? I’m sure you can guess the answer…

When booking a professional DJ Service for you event always ask:

• Overall experience how many years how many events.
• Have they done this type of event you are looking for?
• Music: do they legally obtain it and are they familiar with in general what you’re looking for?
• Equipment: most have what then need, but is there backup of almost everything on site?
• Network: Do they network with others in the service in the event of needing help or advice?
